living in my own sanctuary.

It's official, I cancelled my student exchange trip to Canada. Although my parents tried giving me the liberty to make my own decision, my mom and dad did tell me that they were rather worried if I had chose to go over to Canada considering the current h1n1 pandemic. They expressed concern that no 1 will be there to take care of me "if" I were to catch the virus. So I guess I'm stuck in this shit hole till the end of next year (Time I grad).

I just got back from my 1 week in camp training. I have nothing much to say, just that certain officers don't command respect. They just order people around and don't know a single shit of the operation? Yea, exactly, because most of the time the specialists and men are on ground doing everything together. Kinda sad that my whole ops company i was in during my NSF days aren't together as a whole now, it has been split into 2 companies. Passed my Ippt, 8 seconds lesser for my 2.4km and i cld have gotten silver (meaning $100 more).......... argh so wasted! Don't ask me how was my training, it sucked totally and if you happen to see me around the street, you'll notice that it seemed that i was toasted and burnt damn badly due to the sun. Yes, im super tann, to the extent of being burnt.

Anyways, something random and was always thinking of ambitions and dreams: I have this ideal career in mind eversince I graduated from poly - being a host for Globe Trekker. Sounds damn bazaar right? haha, too far-fetched and won't happen. I really like to travel around the world and see the different cultures and landscapes that you don't get to experience in this concrete jungle. I totally don't support local broadcast programmes pertaining to travel and living, they simply don't have the mojo to do it! Even during my uni exams, i would stay up and watch the 3am timeslot on Globe Trekker series broadcasted on Discovery travel & living.

When I was young, my parents brought me to the Great Canyon - places where the red indians still inhabit, Whistler Mountain in the Canadian Rockies where horses and sleighs do exist, Golden Gate bridge, oriental Asia. But I was seriously too young to understand what each of the places meant or even differentiate the wonders of the world.

So whatever you do, wherever you are, who ever you are with, just treasure every moment of it. Because, you'll never know that may jolly well be the last time you'll be doing that or be travelling to that place.
