Haven't been running SOC eversince my SISPEC days in November 2006. Not forgetting my coy in SISPEC was super enthu in IPPT and SOC results. Yes... we ran approx 15 times for SOC throughout my course(10 weeks)? arghx... there was once when we had 3 SOC run-downs in a single week. That was madness........

Anywayz... my SOC test for my first year was cleared! 9min 50sec! phew! although didnt run for quite sometime.. i managed to pass this dreadful test, tink i gotta thank my SISPEC bravo coy! But this SOC test gotta be the most siong one ever! cant stop panting and felt dizzy and stars was floating around me. Basically i felt terrible.

First interaction with my men. We were task to do some brainstorming session on NDP related stuff. Yea, so far so good. Think their quite a bunch of nice peeps, at least they can talk to me like a normal fren and not some superior. My so called "under-study" programme has ended as of today also, and Monday i am the duty sergeant already. Well, im definately NOT those authoritative kind of leader. My journey of becoming a sect com was an interesting one. Saw the kinds of leaders to follow and not to follow.

My journey in army has actually just began.

Almost a month since i last blogged.

Passing out parade! at last, im a 3rd Sergeant. NO MORE TRAINEE LIFE! no more marching... no more pumpin... more freedom... but of course all of these comes with a price - taking care of ya men. Anywayz, posted to operationally ready company... yea.... stressful?? i guess so. Its like u cant play play and muz noe wad ya doin kind of place. Its really weird when last week my pioneers called me "sergeant". Most of the time, the instructors will call u by nicknames or ya surname, if ya lucky they will call u by ur name.

In the month of May is National Day prep for my unit. Going down to marina bay weekly for rehearsals. Weekends will b burnt! arghx.. This year, my unit is incharge of national day... oh wellz.. looking forward coz its gonna b held at marina bay for the 1st time, dreading it coz of the countless burnt weekends......... ARGHHHHH...
